Terms of Service

These terms are between Site Lynx Group Ltd ("we", "us") and the business subscribing to Work-Lynx ("you"). By signing up you agree to them. Short, plain English — no 40-page lawyer dump.

1. What Work-Lynx is

Work-Lynx is a UK-focused HR and workforce management software-as-a-service product. It helps you manage clock-ins, rotas, leave, payslips, policies and related HR tasks.

2. Who can use it

You need a valid email, a UK-registered business (or sole trader UTR), and to be 18 or over. One admin account per company. You can invite as many employees as you like — each active employee costs £1/month.

3. Pricing & billing

£2.50 base per company per month, plus £1 per active employee per month. Billed monthly in arrears through Stripe. We count “active employee” as anyone not marked as deactivated on the billing date.

4. Free trial

New accounts get 14 days of full access with no card required. At the end of the trial you pick a plan to continue, or the account becomes read-only for 30 days then is deleted.

5. Your data

You own your data. We process it to provide the service under UK GDPR. You can export everything to CSV at any time and request deletion. See the privacy policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

• Don't try to break into other companies' accounts.
• Don't upload content that's illegal under UK law.
• Don't scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Don't use Employ AI to generate legal advice you rely on without a solicitor — it's guidance, not advice.

7. Availability

We target 99.5% uptime. We do scheduled maintenance outside UK working hours where possible. We don't offer SLAs on the standard plan — if uptime falls significantly short we'll credit your next invoice on request.

8. Liability

Our total liability to you under these terms is capped at the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months. We're not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost opportunity, third-party claims). Nothing here limits liability we can't limit by law (fraud, death or injury caused by negligence).

9. Termination

You can cancel any time. We can terminate your account if you breach these terms seriously or fail to pay. We'll always let you export your data first (30 days).

10. Governing law

English law. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
